Do you believe in phantoms or apparitions? Have you bumped into something that seems so bizarre or unbelievable, yet, you know you are certain it did arise? You are seeking for an explanation but no matter how much you have tried, you could not hit upon any answer? Even science could not have it explicated. This is what we call a mystical or paranormal phenomenon.
Paranormal phenomena are certain occurrences that cannot be explained by Science or any field of systematized knowledge. This is due to the lack of evidence and assertion. The fact that only a few people can experience things or situations beyond normal is the downside to any argument of this nature.
Logically, since these phenomena are afar from what any man can perceive or experience; only Metaphysics has the power to explain such occurrences. Metaphysics is yet another branch of Philosophy that deals on things beyond physical, including the nature of the unseen beings.
Many believe that a spirit dwells inside a body, which is alive. Conversely, death is the only instance that the physical body and the spirit take apart. Some suppose that spirits may divulge themselves to be seen by others. However, only the special people who seize a distinctive potential can perceive such phantom beings. These are the same people who have power over ESP or Extra Sensory Perception.
Metaphysics, on the other hand, suggests that spirits do exist and that they are immortal. Although these beings lack their substantial bodies, therefore, cannot be seen by the naked eye. The assertion that someone has seen some ghosts or spirits is a mere illusion of the human mind, which results to hallucination. This makes them see things like they are real.
People with ESP (Extra Sensory Perception) can be acclaimed by Metaphysics as talented persons because they can transcend beyond the limitation of their senses. They are the ones who can experience or perceive paranormal beings, not through any of the five senses of they have, but rather with the use of their sixth sense, or “third eye“.
On the thought that these unseen beings can hurt us, there is no clear evidence that they can do such atypical things, due to the following reasons:
- First, these spirits have their own purpose of existence in this world. A purpose that no man can elucidate.
- Second, they do not possess a substantial body, thus, they can neither touch us nor we can feel them. With this reality, there is nothing to be afraid of.
The aforementioned metaphysical explanation is just one of the many illuminations that exist. Nevertheless, regardless of whether phantoms or apparitions are true or not, the final verdict is still yours.
